Apprenticeship funding available
We still have spaces available to 19+ employees for our Apprenticeship Expansion Programme which gives you the employer a £2,000 wage subsidy bonus!
Luxury leather goods producer, Mulberry, has always been focused on maintaining reputation and quality. In recent years the company has found it increasingly difficult to replace retiring staff and recruit new employees with the right technical skills to maintain quality standards.
As a solution, Bridgwater College and Mulberry, with the help of the Sector Skills Council, brokered a partnership to develop an apprenticeship programme that met the company's specific on-site needs to train apprentices in the workplace. Following the development of this successful apprenticeship training model, the College is now able to offer flexible approaches to apprenticeships to other organisations: a new subsidised apprenticeships programme to help cover the additional cash flow commitments in year one of the training programme. There is no minimum age.
Mulberry is committed to quality and knows the importance of having access to a skilled workforce to help compete in a global marketplace - and we hope this Wage Incentive for New Apprenticeships will allow your organisation to train new employees in specialist skills ready for the upturn. This incentivised recruitment programme is currently available on a wide range of apprenticeship programmes including:
• Business Administration
• Leather Goods
• Manufacturing Sewn Products
• Customer Service
• Engineering
• Electrical Installation
